The Wangaratta Rifle Club (WRC) welcomes visitors to experience target shooting in a safe, friendly environment. Please use the contact page or send a message via our Facebook page, to book in on a Saturday. You’ll be paired with an experienced mentor, to guide you through the sport, safety rules, and club procedures.
Due to the current uncertainty around proposed National and Victorian firearms law changes, we have temporarily paused accepting new members until further notice. This step ensures we remain fully compliant as the regulatory framework evolves over the next few months.
The WRC continues to value genuine passion for the sport: membership is reserved for those who share our ethos of active participation in competition shooting. Once the regulatory situation settles, the club would like to resume to offer memberships, to people who want to be actively involved in our sport.
While the current laws allow, visitors remain very welcome to join us on Saturdays, to participate, chat with members, and enjoy the atmosphere. We’ll share updates here as the legislation evolves.
